Memory (of a memory) of a Dream

I’m back from my long holiday break, which took me all over California, from a snowed-in tent in Yosemite, which, by the way, and an absolute jewel in the winter, through the desolation of the Californian south-east, as far south as Death Valley, and then back up through the eastern Sierras and back to my home town of San Francisco.

It will be interesting to look at the film I shot over these weeks – I don’t do much landscape photography in general, and was not planning on it per se, but could not resist pulling out my camera over and over again. California takes my breath away.

For now though, as the film dries, here’s another shot of Ana from the same shoot as before.
