Memory (of a memory) of a Dream

I took this shot about 37 minutes before Marina’s birthday, which is today. It is also the first shot I took with my new set of alien bees that she gave me for mine. I wasn’t actually going for a portrait-portrait this time around, this was more of a get-to-know-the-lights-in-30-minutes-before-we-go-to-sleep type of thing but Marina slipped into her 20s silent-movie star look and this is what came out. Not bad for a first time, if I may say so myself.
